    Description: Clients may be experiencing issues with sending emails to people with an @outlook.com, @hotmail.co.uk, @hotmail.com or @msn.com email addresses.
    Emails are not being delivered to these outgoing mailboxes

    Status:

    • 02/06/2019 - 17:50 - Our technicians have investigated the issue and a fix is in progress
    • 03/06/2019 - 09:05 - Our technicians have resolved the issue on our side and awaiting a response from Outlook
    • 04/06/2019 - 15:35 - Outlook Team have confirmed the issue is still present - we're awaiting their diagnostics reply
    • Estimated Fix Time: Wednesday 5th June 2019 by 9:00 AM

    Reason:

    This usually happens now and again due to the volume of e-mails being sent through our servers but rarely is a problem (Last was 2 years ago).

    As a temporary resolution while we await the Outlook team, please use an alternate platform such as gmail to send out e-mails.

    We have marked this as a priority.

    We're proud to announce that this July 2014, will be Sky Host Web Solution's 10th Birthday!
    Making it to 10 years has been a huge achievement, and it's all down to you, our customers!

    With over 300,000 client's internationally worldwide, we never expected to be where we are today.
    As the growth of our services have expanded significantly beyond our predicted forecast,
    we are now in a position of upgrading to a higher tier 2 datacentre to expand our limits.

    What Does This Mean for You?

    Your websites will shortly be supercharged and migrated to brand new server hardware, at no extra charge.
    Running on the latest Intel Xeon / AMD technologies, and delivering the same reliability & confident service
    that we have provided for years. With its unrivalled resiliency, availability, and security, your website
    will have the freedom and power to run with ease!

    Do I need to do anything & When will the migrations take place?
    You don't need to do anything at all! It's all automated and doesn't require any intervention from you.
    However, if you have purchased a domain EXTERNALLY (not from us), you will need to update your nameservers,
    ensuring they are pointing to ns1.skyhostpro.com and ns2.skyhostpro.com.

    The migrations are expected to be done this weekend, starting on Saturday 3rd May 2014 - Monday 5th May 2014.
    The work will be carried out by our network engineers and each server will be done in sequence.
    Although no problems / outages are expected, we strongly advise that you DON'T make any changes to your website
    (such as updating files) during this time period due to propagation.
    No downtime is expected and everything in theory should failover meaning your websites should stay online during
    the complete transition.

    Are there any other developments that are going to be implemented?
    Along with the upgrade, we will be updating our billing control panel, SkyPanelv2.
    Therefore, it's important to note that it may be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade period stated above.
    We are also moving to the latest version of cPanel (11.42.1.12) - This brings a whole new range of features.
    We've also had enquiries about PHP 5. We understand that many clients are still running 5.3 scripts, and therefore
    will continue to provide PHP 5.3 as default. However, we are looking at coding & enabling a script where you can
    change your PHP version right from your cPanel Interface to enable higher versions such as 5.5, more details about this will be released soon.

SkyHost.eu Performing Maintainance on Site (Resolved)

    Today, Thursday 18th October 2012 at 17:00 BST, we will be performing maintainance on our main domain, skyhost.eu. The maintainance involves us updating our IP Address, which does mean our site may be inaccessible for upto 48 hours. During this period our site (skyhost.eu) may show up a "Default Website Page" and not our official website and therefore SkyPanel V2 may not be available (Billing & Support System).

    During this 48 hour period, if you require urgent support, please use the following e-mail address - support@skyhostpro.com or leave a message by calling us on 0208 123 1267. Please also leave a valid mobile number or email address we can contact you at.

    PLEASE NOTE:
    This only affects our official site (skyhost.eu). All domains & other services are not affected. cPanel is not affected either.

Migration to our new UK Datacentre (Resolved)

  • Dear Clients,

    Between the 22nd July 2012 & 26th July 2012, we will be migrating our servers to a new location we have in the the UK.
    During this time, we will be migrating a few servers at a time until we have all our servers at our new datacentre.
    Please note: There will be no downtime of any sites. We will migrate accounts accordingly and update our IP's to our new location.
    It's important that you have set the CORRECT default nameservers in order for your domain to automatically propagate to our new location.

    If you have purchased your domain from skyhost.eu, your nameservers are set correctly automatically.
    If you have purchased your domain externally, you must set your nameservers to the ones in your setup email.
    Most likely, you will have the correct nameservers already, they will be in the format xxx.skyhost.eu

    If you don't know if you've set your default nameservers correctly, please open a support ticket.
    We have over 100,000 clients to move so all accounts will be migrated at the latest by the 26th July 2012.
    All account usernames & passwords will remain the same.

Server Upgrade on SH100 & SH101 (Resolved)

    As we approach the 100,000 Client Mark, we are currently upgrading Servers SH100 & SH101.
    This will occur between the 31/03/2012 - 01/04/2012. No Downtime is Expected.
    The server will also be changing nodes on our network, meaning that it will have a different IP Address.
    However, these will be updated automatically if you host your domain with us already or if you have
    your own domain pointing to NS1.skyhostpro.com & NS2.skyhostpro.com.

    Between Wednesday 8th February 2012 to Friday 10th February 2012 one of our main servers, SH100,
    Will be upgrading to a faster server due to the amount of client's that we now maintain.

    We expect that there will be no downtime as both servers will be on while your domains are being propagated.
    Everything will be updated automatically and we require no user intervention from you.

    All Files will be transferred today.
    If you update your site regularly, we recommend that you don't update your site till Friday Afternoon.
    (As Files are currently being transferred)

    Client's who have bought their domain externally (outside of Sky Host Web Solutions) will only be affected if
    you are using our Nameserver IP's. i.e. 209.18.x.x - The new ip's will be posted on this notice shortly (on our site)

    Existing Client's who have purchased a domain from us, do not have to worry as we will update your nameservers automatically.

    ALL cPanel User Login details will be EXACTLY the same as before.
